Discover all you need to know about parking at Universal Orlando—options, prices, tips, and where to park for the best experience.

Universal Orlando Resort is the ultimate summer getaway in 2025 and, with the brand-new Epic Universe park that opened last May 22, it’s expected to draw a larger crowd. So if you’re heading to Universal Orlando Resort to enjoy the newest attractions with the crowd this summer, make sure to plan ahead. You can save time and money, as well as avoid parking stress and frustration by knowing where to park and how much it’ll cost. This parking guide covers what you need to know about Universal Orlando parking and some insider tips to make the most of your visit.
Universal Orlando Resort added another epic theme park to its powerhouse line-up of franchise‑based attractions in May: Universal Epic Universe. Inspired by popular video game, film, and TV franchises, this latest addition features five immersive lands: Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon, Harry Potter, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park.
With over 50 attractions, a handful of dining options, and hotels offering access perks, Universal Orlando’s newest theme park is sure to be packed with visitors during summer vacation.
Parking at Universal Orlando Resort is straightforward, but with thousands of visitors arriving daily, knowing where to go and what to expect can make a big difference. Whether you’re visiting for a day trip or staying in one of the resort hotels, understanding your parking options will help you start your day off right.
Universal Orlando provides convenient parking garages to guests, but where you’ll park depends on which theme park you’re visiting. For visitors heading to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, CityWalk, and Volcano Bay, use the main parking garage located at 6000 Universal Boulevard. Guests must pass through security screening before entering CityWalk, which serves as the gateway to all Universal theme parks. Volcano Bay has a dedicated parking area within the garage complex, so follow the directions to secure a parking slot. From there, a complimentary shuttle service will take you to the park entrance.
For those heading to Epic Universe, parking is located separately at 1001 Epic Boulevard, near the new theme park.
Universal Orlando parking rates depend on the type of pass you hold during your visit. Regular rates apply to day visitors and seasonal passholders while annual passholders enjoy different types of parking perks. It’s important to note that rates are seasonal and may vary day by day and that the applicable parking rate is different for oversized vehicles, such as large RVs and buses.
Regular Self-Parking: $32
Prime Self-Parking: $50 – $60
Valet
Oversized vehicle (RV & Bus) parking: $42
Parking at Universal Orlando can be budget-friendly with a bit of planning. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your visit:
Arrive Early or Late
Try to arrive right when the garages open or later in the afternoon to avoid long lines at parking booths and security. Schedule your time of arrival depending on your priority: arrive early to secure better parking spots or arrive late (especially after 6 PM) for reduced parking rates.
Ride Share to the Park
If you’re not staying long or want to skip parking fees, consider using a ride share service. There are dedicated drop-off and pick-up zones with easy access to CityWalk and park entrances.
Free Parking After 6 PM*
If you’re only visiting CityWalk for dining, movies, or entertainment, you can enjoy free general parking after 6 PM, except on days tagged as special event nights, such as Halloween Horror Nights. Likewise, free regular parking is available from 11 AM to 6 PM if you buy two or more tickets for Universal Cinemark matinee showings. Note, however, that you will have to pay the parking fee first and simply get it reimbursed when you provide the parking receipt.
*Not applicable at Epic Universe
Book Parking In Advance
If you don’t want to park at Universal Orlando’s on-site parking garages or you have other plans elsewhere, consider reserving a parking spot in advance with platforms like Spacer. Spacer offers affordable and reliable parking spots near popular destinations in Florida, so you can park where it’s most convenient for your choice of activities.
